Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team with on the floor experience (min 3 yrs).
As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Your expertise in hairstyling, customer service, and product knowledge will ensure that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. We provide a relaxed yet 5* atmosphere with an attention to detail.
Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hairstyles and products.
- Assist in store management tasks such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining product displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their comfort during appointments.
- Mentor junior stylists or trainees by sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills.
- Upsell hair care products and services to clients based on their individual needs.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, including techniques such as eyelash extensions, barbering, and makeup application.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Proven experience in store management is advantageous for overseeing daily operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for every client.
- Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the team.
- Proficient in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while enhancing client satisfaction.
- Experience with front desk operations is beneficial for managing appointments and client interactions.
- Knowledge of specialised services such as eyelash extensions, barbering, and makeup application is desirable.
