Job Overview
We are currently recruiting two caring and reliable individuals to support a person living with a spinal cord injury in Camborne. This is a hands-on, rewarding role providing essential daily support and companionship. Driving is essential for attending appointments and supporting occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing and hygieneAssist with basic medical needs (training provided)
- Help with light housework to maintain a clean and safe home
- Accompany the patient to appointments and outings
- Participate in occasional travel
- Drive the patient as required (must hold a valid UK driving licence)
Schedule
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 25 hours total over each 4-day working period
- Includes morning care and one hour in the evening each working day
- Shift details and exact timing to be confirmed with successful candidates
Requirements
- Experience in care is preferred but not essential
- Full training provided
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence – driving is essential
- Compassionate, respectful, and reliable
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with occasional travel
- Must be good with animals (pet-friendly home)
