Wessex Pictures is a privately owned, market-leading wholesaler serving the Picture Framing Trade nationally. With a strong reputation for quality and service, we are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join us as a delivery driver in a full time capacity.
Duties will include loading, unloading vehicles delivering glass, board etc to galleries and framers in and around central London. This role can sometimes consist of working in the warehouse picking and packing of orders and the loading of vehicles. This is a physical role involving some heavy lifting so would suit someone who is active and practically minded.
Full training will be provided and due to the nature of the role regular overtime will be required so a flexible approach to working hours will be required.
5 day week + overtime - 28 days holiday including Bank holidays - free on-site parking - permanent position - company pension scheme - profit related bonuses
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
