Vehicle Polisher
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Pay Rate: £15.91 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
Are you a skilled Vehicle Polisher with experience in an automotive bodyshop setting? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Working on behalf of one of the UK's leading automotive companies, successful candidates will be polishing a range of vehicles within a busy and fast-paced bodyshop environment.
The Role:
Within the Vehicle Polisher role, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking the final polish of freshly painted vehicle panels
- Rectifying paint defects, including runs and imperfections, using appropriate polishing techniques
- Flatting and polishing vehicle panels using handheld polishing equipment
- Ensuring vehicles are finished to a high standard ready for quality control inspection
- Removing scratches, swirls, and minor paint defects
- Working efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
The Person:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Polisher within an automotive bodyshop is essential
- Ability to polish freshly painted panels to a high standard
- Experience removing paint defects and imperfections
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
