Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wet Room Vinyl Flooring Fitter specializing in Cap & Cove installations to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure and prepare wet room areas accurately to ensure seamless vinyl flooring installation.
- Fit vinyl flooring with a focus on Cap & Cove techniques, creating smooth transitions and waterproof seals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials efficiently.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise placement and alignment of vinyl components.
- Apply construction painting techniques where necessary to enhance the finish and protect edges.
- Maintain a clean work environment by managing waste materials and adhering to safety protocols throughout each project.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring installation or similar trades.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment essential for precise fitting.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and instructions accurately.
- Experience with construction painting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of waterproofing methods, especially Cap & Cove vinyl flooring installation in wet environments.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Valid experience or certification in the use of construction-related schematics and safety procedures.
