Jobsworth Recruitment is working with a leading education services organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy and supportive HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people, providing practical advice and supporting managers through a variety of employee relations matters.
As an HR Advisor, you will provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers and schools, helping them navigate a range of employee relations and people-related issues.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders

Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes
-
Advising on sickness absence and capability matters

Providing guidance on performance and employee relations issues
-
Supporting TUPE processes and consultations
-
Building strong relationships with internal and external clients

Ensuring HR advice is consistent, professional and aligned with current employment legislation

Supporting the development of HR services and new service lines

Working collaboratively within a busy and enthusiastic HR team
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident dealing with complex and sensitive employee relations matters.
You will ideally have:

Strong generalist HR experience

Experience advising managers on employee relations issues

Knowledge of disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability processes

Experience or understanding of TUPE
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude
-
The ability to manage your own workload while working effectively as part of a team

Flexibility and enthusiasm to support a growing HR service
Experience working within schools, education or the public sector would be highly advantageous, although strong HR experience from another sector will also be considered.
