An opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology team. A Cardiac Physiologist is required to work as a competent practitioner performing a range of Diagnostic investigations. Duties will include Ambulatory Analysis, Exercise Tolerance testing and Tilt tests.
The successful candidate will perform a range of diagnostic investigations independently within the department and assist in some complex investigations. Analyse and report findings for Ambulatory Monitors and perform routine ECG’s and fit ambulatory monitors on a variety of patients. Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
Training will be offered in Pacemaker implantation and follow up.
The main duties of the role include but are not limited to:
Recording Electrocardiograms (ECGs),
Ambulatory 24Hr BP monitoring
Ambulatory 24 HR ECG monitor Analysis.
Analysis of the R test Event recorders
Assist in ETT/ HUT
Assist Pacemaker Implant and follow ups
