Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time dynamic and motivated Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our brand presence across various social media platforms and supporting our public relations initiatives. Your energy and creativity will help us connect with our audience, promote our offerings, and build meaningful relationships with our community. Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Lead content creation across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Film, edit, and post engaging short-form video (Reels, TikToks), photo content, and stories.
- Website Updates: Keep website posts up to date, upload news/blogs, and regularly gather and publish customer testimonials.
- Partnership Maintenance: Help nurture relationships with brand partners, suppliers, and industry influencers to support co-marketing initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions across all platforms to build an active digital community.
- Support the planning and execution of public relations activities, including press releases, media outreach, and community events.
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics to optimize content strategy and report on campaign effectiveness.
Experience
- Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of popular social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
- Ability to analyse trends across multiple platforms and apply them to our audience.
- Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Knowledge of basic public relations principles and practices.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to learning new tools and strategies.
- Passion for cars, automotive culture, or classic Minis is a strong plus.
Please note that you may be required to undertake some administration duties as and when cover is required, including taking phone calls on reception, maintaining client relationships and invoicing. Training will be provided, so experience isn't entirely necessary.
Hours can be flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week. Ability to work afternoons is preferrable.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
