No experience? No problem! This is an apprenticeship, so we’ll provide you with full training and support every step of the way.
To be eligible, you’ll need:
A good standard of secondary education
Not to already hold a CIPD Level 3 (or higher)
The right to work in the UK and meet Apprenticeship funding criteria
You’ll thrive in a busy office environment and enjoy being part of a positive, supportive team. We work across office, hybrid and remote settings - you’ll begin office-based to build your skills, with flexibility as you grow.
You’ll also have strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Planner), along with great problem-solving ability and an excellent eye for detail.
As a Talent & People Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the recruitment of high-quality individuals who go on to save lives and make a real difference in the community. You’ll help ensure we continue to grow as a competitive, diverse, and purpose-driven organisation.
You’ll act as a central point of contact for both recruitment and the wider People team, gaining hands-on experience across the full hiring journey. From managing recruitment systems like Team Tailor and Cezanne to keeping candidate and employee data accurate and up to date, you’ll be at the heart of our people processes.
Day-to-day, you’ll get involved in:
Creating and posting engaging job adverts
Reviewing applications and CVs against screening criteria
Assessing candidate test results using tools like TestGorilla
Keeping candidates informed and supported throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a great experience at every stage
Supporting recruitment events in schools, colleges and the community
Completing key pre-employment checks (right to work, references and DBS)
Managing the careers inbox daily, providing timely and professional responses
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation in recruitment while contributing to a team that truly makes an impact.
The post would be suitable for a candidate entering the Human Resources sector, looking to achieve a Level 3 apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Level 3 details
The CIPD HR Support Apprenticeship L3, 18-24 months duration dependent on individual learner progression (with the possibility of the position being made permanent on successful completion of the programme). Your apprenticeship studies through the apprenticeship provider Babington, will take place remotely however you will be based within our New Milton offices. You will have an opportunity to achieve the CIPD L3 qualification as part of your learning programme. Successful completion of this standard will enable you to apply for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
