We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at The Regent Health Club & Spa. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our club members and spa guests within our 22-metre swimming pool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Always provide vigilant supervision of the pool area
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members and spa guests
- Identify potential hazards and proactively prevent accidents
- Perform cleaning duties as required
- Undertake pool plant operations
- Execute water rescue procedures when necessary
- Administer first aid, including CPR, if needed
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong focus and dedication to responsibilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction
- Passion for ensuring the safety of all pool users
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to appropriately address and correct pool user behaviour
- Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate
- Possession of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)Document
Working Hours and Conditions:
- Flexibility to work both early morning and late evening shifts is essential
- Weekend availability is desirable due to industry demands
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age
