About the Role
As a leading manufacturer of air bubble cushioning, we’re looking for proactive and driven Production Machine Operators to join our team. This is a hands-on role operating heavy-duty machinery in a fast-paced environment. After initial and ongoing training, you’ll work safely and efficiently, maintain quality standards, and play a key role in supporting our sustainability goals for future growth and development.
Hours: 48 hours per week (Mon–Thu), 12-hour shifts rotating days/nights (Days 6:00-18:00 / Nights 18:00-6:00)-Must be able to work days and nights as part of the rotational system.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine operations and maintain quality standards
- Complete production schedules accurately
- Handle materials and move full pallets to holding area
- Maintain good housekeeping and support recycling initiatives
- Report faults and assist with problem-solving
- Responsibilities a may expand as you develop in the role.
What we’re looking for:
- Can work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Can read, understand, and complete production schedules
- Physically able to move full pallets and lift products (1kg–30kg)
- Comfortable working with material specifications (weights and measures)
- Can work with plastic air bubble cushioning products
- Good numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills
- Physically fit for prolonged standing, walking, and lifting
Particulars:
- Previous manufacturing experience beneficial (full training provided)
