Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Carpenters Labourer with CSCS to support our construction team in various building projects. The ideal candidate will assist with a range of tasks including material handling, site preparation, and basic carpentry work. Duties
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of construction components
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support carpenters with cladding, first fix, second fix, finals, window and door installation tasks as required
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment around the site
- Prepare sites by clearing debris and organising materials
- Support with site safety measures and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Assist with the installation of structural elements and fixtures under supervision
Skills
- Basic knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and carpentry techniques is desired but not essential
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Familiarity with carpentry
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour efficiently
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills within the construction trade
- Strong teamwork ethic and good communication skills
