Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care and enablement to individuals within their own home and community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of the individuals we support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of care plans for service users.
- Communicate effectively with service users , families, and colleagues to maintain a high standard of care.
- Drive patients to appointments or outings as required.
- Utilise IT systems to update service users records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Deliver support services in home care environments, promoting independence and dignity.
Requirements:
- Clean licence and Business car insurance.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with service users and colleagues.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans to meet the individual needs of services users.
- Experience working in a care setting or similar healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- A valid driving licence for transporting service users when necessary.
- Basic IT skills to navigate electronic records and other care systems.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide quality care to those in need.
