Overview
CAS Contract Cleaning are seeking a dynamic and results driven Area Cleaning Manager.
As a provider of communal area cleaning services throughout Scotland we are in a position to recruit a Cleaning Manager to directly manage multiple location contracts within Glasgow and the surrounding areas, working closely with Senior Area Managers and a wider team of Area Managers.
You’ll lead your teams to deliver a consistently high standard of cleaning services, caring about the detail, building strong client relationships, and driving performance across all sites.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Complete daily audits to ensure quality and service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
- Lead onboarding and training of new team members in cleaning standards and health & safety.
- Manage absence and carry out probation reviews.
- Liase with our HR partner to support employee relations.
- Be a problem solver for operational challenges across your contracts.
- Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, be proud of the service we provide.
- Drive performance to meet and exceed KPI and SLA targets.
- Motivate and support teams to thrive, aligning with our value to grow together.
- Communicate pay and staffing changes effectively to our Payroll Team.

The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing teams effectively. As an Area Cleaning Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all sites operate efficiently and maintain regular contact with our client base, head office and your teams.
You will be supplied with a company pool vehicle, mobile telephone and tablet device to carry out the role.
