Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at Bowden Bakery. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our café remains a welcoming space for all customers. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations.
- Handle food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest quality.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.
