We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team, with the option of live-in accommodation. Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all offerings
- Manage food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Lead team management activities, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Assist in menu planning and development to enhance guest experience
- Ensure proper stock control, ordering supplies as needed to minimise waste
- Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere within the kitchen environment
- Provide excellent service by supporting serving staff when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in food production and culinary arts, with a flair for creativity in menu development
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
