Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during food handling and service
- Assist with basic food preparation when required, maintaining kitchen safety protocols
- Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in guest services, upselling, and culinary environments is desirable but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
