Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Land Rover Vehicle Technician to join our expanding professional team in our new workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of models in the Land Rover range, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise and develop your technical skills within a dynamic automotive environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair of JLR products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues using specialised tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs with precision.
- Carry out routine inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Assist with the replacement of parts, including tyres, batteries, filters, and belts.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed on each vehicle for documentation purposes.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Assist in the organisation of workshop areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- To ensure that housekeeping and tidiness is kept to an high standard promoting a clean and efficient working environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge of modern and present JLR products is essential for this role.
- Main dealer or Independent specialist experience is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiently skilled in using JLR Topix, SDD, Topix Cloud and other diagnostic platforms.
- An ability to guide others and assist in the success of a close nit team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to accurately report findings and repairs.
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 or higher in an automotive qualification.
- Full UK driving license with no points

Pay: £36,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
