Sports Turf Operative
Salary: £28,000
Contract: Full-Time
Are you passionate about outdoor work and have a keen eye for detail? My client is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team, maintaining high-quality sports turf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing, line marking, scarifying, aerating, and topdressing turf
- Using professional groundskeeping machinery and hand tools
- Fertilising and weed control under health & safety guidelines
- General site upkeep including hedge trimming, litter picking, and minor repairs
- Supporting with match-day preparation and post-match recovery
About You:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or sports turf preferred
- Familiarity with machinery operation and basic mechanical knowledge
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and happy to work outdoors in all weathers
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance
