The Grange is a 26 bed Nursing home situated within the village of Sherbourne St John, near Basingstoke. We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our lovely home and be a part of our friendly team. We take pride in providing a welcoming and clean environment for our residents and their visitors, our housekeeping and laundry staff play a valuable and key role in achieving this. You should be able to show an understanding of Health & Safety, Infection Control, COSHH and the safe storage and handling of cleaning products.
We currently have 30 hours available, 4-5 days per week between 8am and 6pm, working between Monday and Sunday, you will have weekends off in rotation (currently every other weekend), however you may be asked on occasions to help cover extra shifts for absences.
Your duties may include (but are not limited to):
- General cleaning duties around the home and residents bedrooms, including bathrooms and toilets
- Making sure that all areas of the home are tidy and presentable
- Deep cleaning around the home periodically
- Laundry services including washing, drying and ironing,
