Job Overview — Bar Supervisor / Shift Team Leader
Shots Pool & Snooker Club is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly Bar Supervisor / Shift Team Leader to join our team.
This is a hands-on role which involves working mainly evenings and weekend for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and can confidently take responsibility for running a shift.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests into the club with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Check members and guests in and allocate tables for the correct length of time.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout their visit and ensure everyone has a great experience.
- Serve drinks from behind the bar and provide table service, regularly walking around the club to take and deliver drink orders.
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of the bar during your shift.
- Keep the bar fully stocked and organised.
- Change beer kegs and gas when required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the bar and club.
- Monitor the club floor and make sure tables, seating and surrounding areas are kept clean and presentable.
- Deal with customer queries or issues in a friendly, professional and confident manner.
- Help lead and support other members of the team during busy periods.
- Ensure club procedures and standards are followed throughout the shift.
- Create a welcoming, fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all members and guests.
The Person We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, energetic and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for providing great customer service.
You should be comfortable working in a busy environment, able to communicate well with customers and colleagues, and capable of taking responsibility and leading a shift when required.
Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred, although attitude, reliability and customer service skills are equally important.
If this is your first job in hospitality, full training can be given.
Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour
