Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Night Shift CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate computer numerical control (CNC) turning machines during the night shift to produce high-quality precision components. Your expertise in machining processes, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail will ensure efficient production and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines, ensuring accurate programming and calibration based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and Mastercam models to produce precise parts.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal operation.
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills and measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain detailed documentation of production processes, machine settings, and inspection results.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes involving plastics injection molding, welding, or other fabrication tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC turning machines or similar machining equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in grinding, milling, and tooling techniques.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as Mastercam or similar programs for interpreting technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality verification.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.
