About the role
R&D is responsible for researching, developing and supporting the technology on the company’s technology roadmap. We work closely with Technical Support and Sales to maintain that roadmap, and to understand customer requirements and we work closely with Operations to hand technology over to production.
Duties will include;
· Offer expert RF Engineering advice and guidance
· Contribute to new product ideas, product research design & development, specifications and testing
· Sustain and maintain in-service products
· Develop requirements and architectures from loose customer requirements
· Maintain the company’s hardware engineering tools infrastructure
· Maintain relevant documentation (requirements, design, test, interface, manuals)
· Customer liaison (some international travel may be required)
About you
You will be able to;
· Demonstrate experience in RF and microwave design within defence, aerospace or related industries
· Prove strong practical laboratory measurement skills.
· Drive forward with excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
· Prove your motivation to succeed and make a difference whilst performing in a pressured environment
· Have experience designing broadband RF circuits from MHz frequencies to greater than 10 GHz.
· Have Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
