Due to continued growth and an increasing portfolio of nationwide projects, AC Electrical Services (NW) Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Tester to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, award-winning electrical contractor working across retail, commercial, industrial and maintenance sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations in accordance with BS7671.
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Diagnose electrical faults and recommend remedial works.
- Undertake periodic inspection and testing of commercial and industrial installations.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations.
- Complete accurate certification and reports using digital systems.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and colleagues.
- Support electrical installation and maintenance activities when required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Experience carrying out testing within commercial and industrial environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Desirable
- IPAF Licence.
- PASMA Qualification.
- Experience using certification software.
- Previous experience working within retail environments.
