Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and safety standards. Previous restaurant, culinary, or hotel experience is highly desirable, along with proven supervising experience and team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and support team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
- Manage food production processes to meet demand while controlling waste and ensuring freshness.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth workflow during busy periods.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training, and support professional development initiatives.
- Maintain stock levels, organise inventory checks, and liaise with suppliers when necessary.
- Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Previous experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with barista duties or bar management is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively under pressure.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
