About HolistiQ Services
HolistiQ Services (HS) is building a business services platform connecting companies with trusted professional service providers.
We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) / Privacy Professional to establish, lead and grow the Data Protection service offering within HS.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will operate as an independent professional service provider and take responsibility for delivering and developing Data Protection and Privacy services for clients introduced through HS.
As demand grows, you will have the opportunity to build and manage your own team.
This is an early-stage opportunity based on revenue participation rather than salary. Founding service providers will also participate in an initial profit-sharing arrangement designed to support the establishment of HS.
Responsibilities
You will provide outsourced DPO and privacy advisory services, conduct GDPR audits and DPIAs, prepare privacy policies and compliance documentation, advise on data breaches and data subject rights, support UK and international clients with privacy compliance, and develop scalable Data Protection service packages.
About You
You should have strong practical knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and EU GDPR, with experience advising businesses on data protection and privacy compliance.
Experience acting as an outsourced DPO or managing multiple client organisations is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, BCS Data Protection qualifications or equivalent credentials are desirable.
You should be commercially minded, capable of working independently and interested in building and leading a professional service offering.
Commercial Structure
This is not a salaried position. The salary field shown on Indeed is a platform requirement and should be treated as a placeholder only.
The successful candidate will retain the majority of the economic benefit generated from their services while being responsible for professional delivery and the development of the DPO service.
HS will support participating providers through client acquisition, business development and commercial coordination.
Full commercial terms and founding participation arrangements will be discussed during the interview and documented before commencement.
