Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience is not essential but beneficial.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
- Manage multiple orders during busy periods with excellent time management skills to minimise wait times.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies and food safety standards.
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic food preparation skills are preferred.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
