## Job Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a cafe near the motorway in Cumbernauld. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring customers receive excellent service and delicious food in a welcoming environment.
## Duties
- Support the kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen areas
- Help with catering orders and meal preparation as needed
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices
- Provide friendly customer service, taking orders, and serving food and beverages
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth cafe operations
## Qualifications
- No previous experience is required, training will be provided
- Familiarity with food safety regulations will be desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
