Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper - Leicester
Accountancy Elite are happy to be recruiting for a welcoming and well established accountancy practice based in Leicester who are looking for an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on client work and wants to join a friendly firm where they can continue learning and developing.
Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Bookkeeping for a varied client base
- Preparing VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations and ledger work
- Assisting with year end accounts preparation
- Using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Liaising with clients on records and queries
What we’re looking for:
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience is essential
- Strong bookkeeping and VAT experience
- Good software knowledge
- AAT studying or qualified beneficial
