Self Employed ParcelShop / Locker Van Driver Tyneside – (Van Provided LWB)

Responsibilities
- Safely operate the provided LWB van to deliver parcels to ParcelShops, lockers, and customer locations across Tyneside.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality.
- Handle parcels with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to confirm deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs throughout your shift.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety standards are met.
- Uphold safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times during driving duties.
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- Valid <PERSON> driver license or equivalent, with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving environments, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts.
