We require a dedicated Individual to manage a small cluster of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues. Symbiosis Care has a growing reputation in delivering high quality, person centred support. We currently deliver services in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
As Supported Living Manager, you would be responsible for leading a designated group of support workers to ensure that excellent care is delivered to each person supported by Symbiosis Care. As Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible in the safe and effective day-to-day management of care and support for around 8-10 people. You will join a team of several other Service Managers, and you will report to the Operations Manager.
This role is a supervisory role and a Supported Living Manager will be expected to work front line with the people we support ,and provide guidance and supervision to those support workers in your team.
Essential Criteria for the role
· Experience of working with people with Learning Difficulties/ Mental Health/Autism/ Complex Needs.
· Supervisory experience.
· QCF Level 5 or willing to work towards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To supervise the delivery of person-centred services to all people using our services
· To support the organisation in the completion of accurate rota and timesheet information
· To promote and support the health and safety of both people using the service and support staff
· To ensure that the actions of all staff directly supporting people respect their care, protection and well-being
· To develop your own knowledge and practices relative to continuous service improvement
· To provide formal supervisions and appraisals to support workers ,and to deal promptly and professionally with any staff performance concerns
. To participate in a shared on-call rota.
KEY TASKS:
· Compliance with recording systems ,such as audits and safety checks
· Representing the organisation at professional meetings
Line managing support workers, and providing coaching and guidance to colleagues
· Maintaining and updating care plans and risk assessments

· Full time contract – 40 hours per week
