Overview
Amba Defence is a leading provider of discreet, bespoke security systems to High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients. We design and deliver integrated security systems with exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and reliability.
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Security Engineer to support the delivery and installation of tailored security solutions. The successful candidate will represent the highest standards of discretion, technical expertise and client service.
Tasks to include but not limited to;
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of a range of security systems.
- May occasionally conduct Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM) visits, ensuring all client systems operate to agreed specifications and performance standards.
- Install and configure security communicators (e.g., CSL DualCom) and VSS systems (e.g. Axis & Ubiquity).
- Apply practical knowledge of IP networking (including port forwarding, subnets, DHCP, secure configuration).
- Ensure all work aligns with SSAIB and NSI standards.
- Maintain meticulous site hygiene and professionalism while working in sensitive or private client environments.
- Liaise directly and respectfully with estate managers, household staff and other client representatives.
- Support the Directors with proposal development, system design input, and service visit-based quotations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including site reports, service records, and project updates.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding client information and adhere to all data protection and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Amba’s service offering and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays when needed.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
