Manage and develop a portfolio of key Facilities Management customers, building trusted, long-term relationships

Develop and deliver strategic account plans that support customer retention, growth, and profitability

Identify and secure new business opportunities through consultative selling and relationship development

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, delivering significant new business wins

Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals, and commercial solutions

Lead regular customer business reviews, analysing performance against agreed service levels and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, coordinating support across Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams

Champion exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive a consistently high-quality experience

Monitor account performance, commercial activity, and profitability, taking action to maximise growth opportunities

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the FM business unit to share best practice and support wider business objectives

Proven experience managing strategic or key customer accounts within a B2B environment

Strong business development skills with a track record of winning and growing major accounts

Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

A consultative sales approach with strong commercial awareness

Experience developing account plans and delivering customer growth strategies

Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
-
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple customer priorities
-
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
-
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
-
Experience within the Facilities Management, Construction, Building Services, Hire, or Procurement sectors

Knowledge of strategic account management methodologies
-
Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools

An understanding of marketplace or managed service solutions
