Due to continued success, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fantastic team.
Job Type: Full-time (8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays).
Office Location: Central Edinburgh (EH6 5NP)
Company: We are a well-established and award-winning Firm of Chartered Surveyors offering bespoke investment and property management services to landlords and investors.
You’ll be responsible for our New Business Process and will report to our Head of Lettings. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our New Business Clients enjoy excellent customer service.
Job Role
Working with our Head of Lettings your goal would be to win / onboard New Business Properties
You would act as the primary point of contact for new landlord clients from instruction through to first tenancy handover to the property management team.
Onboarding new properties including first inspections, compliance checks (with assistance from our Compliance Manager) and arranging any pre-tenancy maintenance.
Property marketing including photography and virtual tours. (360 degree camera)
Carrying out some viewings as part of the wider lettings team.
Supporting landlords through the letting process, ensuring an excellent client experience at every stage.
Supporting other members of the team as required.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a property management background looking for a more client-facing, relationship-driven role.
Required
Property management or lettings experience within established agency, with a solid working knowledge of compliance, maintenance coordination and new tenancy setup
Full UK manual driving licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in Excel / IT
Attention to detail
