About the Role
Alben Landscapes is looking for an Experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team working at a prestigious and immaculately maintained educational campus in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional team responsible for maintaining high-quality grounds and outdoor environments to exceptional standards throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of grounds maintenance activities, including:
- Grass cutting using pedestrian mowers
- Strimming and edging
- Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance
- Weed control and border maintenance
- Leaf clearance and seasonal clean-ups
- Litter picking and site presentation
- Maintenance of sports fields and recreational areas
- Pruning of shrubs and small trees
- Upkeep of pathways, entrances, and communal areas
- Daily equipment checks and basic machinery maintenance
- Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery
- A positive and professional attitude
- A full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
