Responsibilities

- Operate spray guns, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently to apply paint coatings
- Follow detailed work instructions and specifications to achieve desired finishes on different materials
- Mix paints, primers, and other coatings accurately using basic math skills for proper consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the job process
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces, making adjustments as needed for flawless results
- Collaborate with team members during fabrication, assembly, or construction painting projects to meet project deadlines
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot spray equipment and power tools
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Experience with fabrication processes related to surface treatments or component assembly
- Strong understanding of basic math for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately
- Warehouse experience is a plus for managing supplies and equipment efficiently
- Knowledge of construction painting practices ensures adherence to safety standards and quality expectations
- Ability to perform assembly tasks when required during project setups or repairs
