Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Bathroom Fitter / Multi Skilled Tradesman to join our team on full time / temporary / price work basis.
This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings, as well as undertaking a variety of trades tasks across different projects. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
- Installing and fitting bathroom suites, including baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and associated fixtures.
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on existing bathroom installations.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently and safely.
- Performing plumbing work such as pipework installation, repairs, and leak detection.
- Assisting with carpentry tasks related to bathroom refurbishments or modifications.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation projects.
- Operating commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials to various sites.
- Reading technical drawings and plans to accurately execute projects.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bathroom fitting and multi-skilled trades work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Strong plumbing skills including pipework installation and leak repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to fixtures, fittings, and basic system troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on-site.
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations.
- Carpentry skills for framing or fitting cabinetry as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team on larger projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks across various sites; organisational skills are essential.
- Own tools and the van are essential for this position.
