Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) is an independent charity representing over 13,000 students at the University of Dundee. Every student is automatically a member, and everything we do is shaped by their voice.
We’re here to help students thrive - academically, socially, and personally. From societies and volunteering to events, retail and hospitality, DUSA creates welcoming spaces where students can connect, belong, and make the most of university life.
We are also the independent voice of students. Through elected officers and representatives, we ensure students influence decisions that affect their education and experience. Our Advice & Support team provides free, confidential advice to students across a wide range of issues.
Based at the heart of campus in Dundee - a friendly, creative, and affordable city - DUSA operates seven days a week, delivering services, opportunities and support that put students first.
The Hospitality and Events Department operates a variety of venues within DUSA, with the aim to provide the students with the finest quality, best value products and services, served in a stimulating and well-maintained environment. The role of Hospitality and Events Supervisor involves staff management and training, ownership over their venue and its stock, with a dynamic and flexible approach to their role to deliver high standards of service for the customer experience.
The Hospitality and Events Team provides a wide range of opportunities – from the set-up and delivery of an event, to welcoming the customers and promoting our events, to looking after customer safety and working within the food and beverage areas of our operations, to taking on projects to increase student engagement and enhance student experience.
You will be joining a versatile team that looks after the customer journey from beginning to end, and that puts student experience at its core, with roles working across the organisation.
We believe in supporting our staff members to learn and develop with us. We do this by holding regular performance and development reviews and showing a clear path of progression.
