Administration Assistant (Part-Time)

Tisbury Country Housekeeping is looking for a highly organised, professional and reliable Administration Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a permanent, year-round position, initially offering approximately 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours as the business continues to expand.
About the Role
This is a varied administrative position where you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring our administration is accurate, organised and completed to a high standard while providing support to both management and our team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputting, checking and extracting staff hours from team schedules.
- Managing and updating staff rotas and schedules.
- Communicating with team members through our company app, email and telephone.
- Preparing and issuing invoices accurately and promptly.
- Sending employment contracts and onboarding paperwork to new team members.
- Carrying out employment background checks and ensuring all pre-employment documentation is completed before staff commence work.
- Collecting, checking and maintaining employee records, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring compliance documentation and keeping personnel files organised and current.
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Maintaining accurate digital records and filing systems.
- Providing general administrative support to the management team.
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous administration experience.
- Excellent IT skills and confidence using computer systems, Microsoft Office and digital applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- A proactive, positive and professional approach.
- A high level of reliability, honesty and trustworthiness.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
