** Background
The Student Learning Development team in Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD) is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Digital Literacies Coordinator to lead the development and promotion of student digital literacies across City St George's. This exciting role will oversee the Student Digital Literacies team, manage key initiatives including LinkedIn Learning and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the University to enhance students' digital confidence, capability and success.
** Responsibilities
You will lead and manage the Student Digital Literacies team, including staff and student employees, delivering projects that support the development of students' digital skills. You will oversee LinkedIn Learning for students, coordinate promotional campaigns and events, manage Digital Experience surveys, analyse and report on data, and share good practice across the institution. The role also involves building partnerships with academic and professional services colleagues to embed digital literacies within the student experience.
** Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience of supporting digital literacies and delivering engaging training and development activities. You will have strong project management, communication and relationship-building skills, experience of managing staff or project teams, and the ability to analyse information and produce reports for a range of audiences. Knowledge of accessibility principles and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion are essential. Experience within higher education would be advantageous.
