Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
- Perform various welding techniques including TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and Stick welding to join metal parts securely.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Measure, mark, and layout materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed welds and assemblies to verify adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and troubleshoot fabrication issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding techniques such as TIG welding, Stick welding, or both.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work, assembly procedures, and the use of fabrication equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during welding and assembly tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: £12.71-£20.85 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
