All About Desserts creates sensational chilled desserts and baked goods for the travel, retail, leisure, hospitality and food service industries.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible and professional driver to join our team at our production unit based in Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough.
Duties will include:
- Delivering products to customers using a company vehicle.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service when interacting with customers.
- Adhering to company policies, food hygiene standards, and health & safety procedures.
- Helping to keep vehicles and work areas clean and tidy.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be a safe, responsible and confident driver.
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Be physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading products.
- Work well as part of a team.
Due to company insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 21 or over.
This job description reflects the main duties and responsibilities of the role. Other reasonable duties may be required from time to time.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday with flexibility required, although some Saturdays may be required to meet business needs. Where a Saturday is worked, a day off during the week will be agreed.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
