HGV Technician
Luton, LU4 | £60,000 – £70,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a well-established commercial vehicle operation in Luton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technician looking for strong earning potential, structured shift patterns and long-term career stability. The business is committed to investing in its engineers, with ongoing technical training and development available.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections, safety checks and compliance work
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
- Completing job cards and service records accurately
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and professional approach
- A willingness to continue developing your technical skills
Shift Pattern
- Early shifts available
- Late shifts available
