Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily activities within the nursery, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and age-appropriate
- Deliver high standards of childcare and early childhood education in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and continuous improvement
- Build strong communication channels with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and wellbeing
- Plan and implement developmental programs that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents or concerns
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with diverse groups of children with varying needs
- Valid childcare qualification at Level 3 or higher (such as CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner)
- Ability to drive is preferred to support flexible transportation needs within the role
