Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy meals, supervising kitchen, and ensuring the delivery of high quality food. Responsibilities
- To ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality
- Manage food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Train new staff members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and standards
- Leadership qualities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience serving customers and working in hospitality is advantageous
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
