Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Guillotine Operator to join our team in Huntingdon, you will play a crucial role in cutting and preparing steel components for our bespoke stair formwork systems, ensuring precision and quality to meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain guillotine cutting machines to ensure precise cuts of steel components.
- Set up machines according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with material handling, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating guillotine or similar cutting machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
