Starting salary between £24414 and £28152 (plus cost-of-living increase)
Fixed-Term Contract to May 2028 and Permanent Posts available.
Based at King’s Court Council Office, Kings Lynn
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys helping people and solving queries? We are looking for enthusiastic Council Information Centre Advisors to join our busy customer services team, with full-time opportunities available on a either a fixed-term contract to May 2028 and on a permanent basis.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the Council, where you will be a first point of contact for residents, visitors and businesses. You will respond to a wide range of enquiries, mainly by telephone, as well as through webchat and email, helping customers access the information and services they need.
You will need to be calm, professional and customer-focused, with the ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. You must be able to communicate at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate, spoken English. Experience of working in a busy customer service environment, handling high volumes of calls and using a range of computer systems, including Microsoft Office, will be important.
