Luna Garden Rooms are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, specialising in painting finishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use specialised tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and decorating techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and colour accuracy is essential for delivering high-quality results.
