Bloom Lilly Healthcare Ltd is looking for reliable, compassionate and experienced female Care/Support Workers to join our team supporting an adult female with complex physical disabilities.
This is a stable, long-term package of care offering consistent daytime hours. We are initially looking to recruit two local team members who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support and continuity of care.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a 2:1 support team, enabling the individual to live an active and fulfilling life and safely access activities within the community.
The role will include:
- Supporting community access and meaningful activities
- Supporting regular swimming sessions
- Personal care, dressing and undressing
- Moving and handling, including use of a hoist
- Supporting wheelchair mobility
- Continence care
- Supporting eating and drinking in accordance with the individual's care plan
- Promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Working collaboratively with family members, professionals and the wider care team
Package-specific training, including relevant physiotherapy guidance, moving and handling and positioning, will be provided.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and able to commit to consistent weekly shifts
- Caring, patient and professional
- A confident swimmer and comfortable supporting swimming activities
- Experienced in care/support work, preferably supporting people with physical disabilities or complex needs
- Comfortable providing personal and continence care
- Willing and able to undertake moving and handling/hoisting following appropriate training
- Able to work effectively as part of a 2:1 team
- Respectful of confidentiality, dignity, choice and independence
- Committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults
Experience is desirable; however, we will consider candidates who demonstrate the right values, reliability and commitment, with appropriate training and competency assessment provided.
Hours and Benefits
- 30–37.5 hours per week
- Full-time or part-time considered
- Up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Consistent daytime hours
- 28 days' annual leave, pro rata as applicable
- Mileage paid for authorised travel between activity/support locations

Pay: £25,350.00-£27,300.24 per year
