We are looking for a part time person to support us in providing dog care within the business. The position is for a driver/day care assistant. Ideal candidates must have a love of dogs, be proactive in their work and be able to use their own initiative when required. Previous experience with dogs essential.
We require someone who is committed, flexible, dedicated and motivated with good fitness levels and also has a passion for dogs. The role will involve driving and working with groups of dogs of varying sizes and breeds. You must be confident with dogs in a group situation and a love for the outdoors is a must as you will be working in all weather conditions. All candidates must have a clean UK driving license and will be required to drive one of our dog vans.
Training will be given so the candidate will feel comfortable in all day-to-day activities before going solo.
Possibility of bringing your own dog if they are well behaved and sociable.

- Must be reliable and have good time keeping
- Effective time management
- Should have an amenable disposition (as will have contact with members of the public)
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the job
- Requirement to hold a full clean UK driving license and be over 25 due to insurance
- Need to cover holiday and sickness on occasion
- Must have experience of owning and caring for a dog ad have an understanding of pet care requirements.
- Dog first aid certificate would be an advantage but not essential
Zero hour contract - Part time hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
